Akkodis is seeking a HIL Lab Technician for a Contract to Hire with a client in Mount Vernon. WA. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of electrical and electronic systems, automotive serial data networks, and electronic test equipment is required to effectively diagnose, test, and analyze vehicle electrical components.
Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
HIL Lab Technician Job Responsibilities include:
Perform testing, validation, and troubleshooting of automotive and heavy-duty vehicle electrical/electronic systems.
Utilize laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, loads, and data logging tools to collect and analyze test data.
Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to support diagnostics and system evaluations.
Analyze vehicle communication networks and serial data systems to identify faults and verify system performance.
Maintain accurate test records, reports, and documentation while ensuring attention to detail and data integrity.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and independently manage assigned projects, adapting to changing priorities and timelines while working safely with high-voltage equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
2-5 years of experience in automotive, heavy-duty vehicle, or electrical/electronic systems testing and validation.
Hands-on experience with automotive electrical systems, vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN), and electronic diagnostic tools.
Proficiency in using laboratory test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, power supplies, data acquisition systems, and data logging equipment.

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour
