Industry Subject Matter Advisor

Akkodis is seeking an Industry Subject Matter Advisor for a Contract job with a client in Milford Mill, MD. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), including functional design and configuration across inbound, outbound, internal warehouse processes, and system integrations.

Rate Range: $89/hour to $92/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Industry Subject Matter Advisor job responsibilities include:

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP EWM solutions across warehouse operations and supply chain processes.

• Provide functional expertise in one or more EWM domains, including Inbound, Outbound, Internal Warehouse Processes, and Interface Management.

• Develop innovative solutions to complex warehouse management and logistics challenges.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver scalable SAP solutions.

• Lead and mentor consultants and project team members while supporting successful project execution.

• Conduct workshops, solution reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions to promote best practices and continuous improvement.

• Support multi-site SAP EWM implementations and phased deployment strategies.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM.

• Strong expertise in:

  • SAP EWM Functional Design

  • SAP EWM Configuration

  • Inbound Logistics

  • Outbound Logistics

  • Internal Warehouse Movements

  • EWM Interfaces and Integration

• Experience leading SAP EWM implementations across multiple sites.

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics processes, and supply chain management.

• Experience facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and delivering business process improvements.

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAP Transportation Management (TM).

• Experience with SAP Inventory Management (IM).

• Knowledge of Accenture Delivery Methods (ADM).

• Experience with Solution Architecture and SAP Supply Chain Integration.

• Prior experience within the Consumer Goods industry.

• Experience supporting global or multi-site warehouse transformation programs.

Pay Details: $89.00 to $92.00 per hour
