Informatica Data Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Informatica Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC. The ideal candidate with expertise in designing and supporting enterprise ETL/ELT solutions, cloud data migrations, and large-scale data integration platforms.

Rate Range: $41/Hour to $55/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Informatica Data Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL/ELT data integration solutions using Informatica IDMC/IICS, PowerCenter, and cloud platforms.

• Lead data migration initiatives from on-premises databases to cloud environments such as Snowflake and GCP while ensuring data integrity and performance.

• Develop and optimize data pipelines, data warehouse solutions, and integration workflows across multiple database technologies.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues while managing incident escalations and ensuring system reliability.

• Implement data quality frameworks, validation processes, and testing strategies to ensure accuracy and compliance with business requirements.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve ETL performance, automate processes, and support enterprise data engineering initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• 4–6 years of experience in Data Engineering, ETL/ELT development, and enterprise data integration.

• Strong hands-on experience with Informatica IDMC/IICS, PowerCenter, Snowflake, GCP, and cloud-based data migration projects.

• Proven expertise in ETL/ELT development, data warehousing, SQL/PLSQL, data validation, and building scalable data integration solutions across enterprise environments.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $55.00 per hour
