Java Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Dallas, TX / Tampa, FL / Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will design and develop scalable Java applications by collaborating with stakeholders, implementing clean code practices, and resolving defects across development and testing phases.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring Boot and J2EE frameworks.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver optimized technical solutions.

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code with unit testing and adherence to coding standards.

• Troubleshoot and resolve application defects during SIT, UAT, and post-deployment phases.

• Participate in Agile activities such as sprint planning, code reviews, and retrospectives.

• Ensure application performance, security, and reliability through continuous monitoring and improvements.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field required (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum 6+ years of experience in Java development with strong exposure to enterprise applications.

• Strong expertise in Core Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database technologies (Oracle/PostgreSQL).

• Proven experience in Agile development, CI/CD tools, and implementing secure, high-performance, and scalable applications.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
