    Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY. You will be responsible for building large-scale applications using Java and Spring framework, ensuring robust design and testing practices.

    Rate Range: $46/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Java Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale applications using Java, Spring framework, and industry best practices.

    • Write and execute unit tests to ensure high code coverage and application reliability.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in test and production environments promptly.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements and deliver robust solutions.

    • Implement secure, scalable solutions while adhering to established architecture and design patterns.

    • Work on cloud-based deployments and ensure compliance with software development lifecycle standards.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

    • 6–9 years of experience in building large-scale applications using Java and Spring framework.

    • Strong proficiency in core Java fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and unit testing (JUnit, Mockito).

    • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (public or private) and familiarity with CI/CD practices and troubleshooting in production environments.

    Pay Details: $46.00 to $48.00 per hour
