Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and modern web technologies.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices to support business functionalities.
Develop and manage database interactions using SQL (MySQL/Oracle) ensuring data integrity and performance.
Participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, coding, testing, and deployments.
Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub for efficient release management.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
3–6 years of experience in Java/full-stack development.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and database technologies (SQL) with hands-on coding experience.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and CI/CD tools (Maven, Jenkins, GitHub) in Agile development environments.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
