    Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance systems while ensuring strong unit test coverage, integration reliability, and cloud-ready deployments.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale Java backend applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.

    • Own end-to-end technical delivery, including analysis, development, unit testing, integration testing, and production support.

    • Build and maintain high-quality unit and integration tests using JUnit and Mockito to ensure strong code coverage.

    • Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional teams to prioritize features and deliver sprint commitments.

    • Optimize application performance for sub-second response times and troubleshoot issues across test and production environments.

    • Contribute to cloud-native development initiatives leveraging Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools while following best engineering practices.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

    • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience building large-scale Java backend applications.

    • Strong experience with Core Java, Spring Boot, unit testing (JUnit/Mockito), and cloud-based environments.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $47.00 per hour
