Java Microservices with GCP

Akkodis is seeking a Java Microservices with GCP for a Contract with a client in Alpharetta, GA/ St. Louis, MO (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable Java-based microservices applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to deliver reliable and high-performance business solutions.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Microservices with GCP Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based microservices applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to support enterprise business solutions.

• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices, ensuring high availability, performance, and security across distributed systems.

• Develop cloud-native applications leveraging GCP services and modern software development frameworks.

• Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, and development teams to analyze requirements and deliver scalable technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance application performance while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

• Participate in Agile development activities, including sprint planning, code reviews, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6-8 years of experience in Java application development, with hands-on experience building cloud-native and microservices-based solutions.

• Strong expertise in Java, Microservices Architecture, RESTful API development, and application deployment on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Proven experience developing scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise applications, with strong knowledge of cloud services, distributed systems, and Agile development methodologies.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
