Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate with expertise leading quality assurance and testing initiatives for banking applications, ensuring successful delivery of high-quality software solutions and compliance with industry standards.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities for banking and financial services applications, ensuring alignment with business requirements, quality standards, and project timelines.

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and test cases for functional, integration, system, and peripheral testing initiatives.

• Coordinate testing efforts across cross-functional teams, track defects, manage test execution cycles, and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders.

• Utilize tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, Confluence, Postman, SoapUI, Git, and Maven to support test management, defect tracking, and quality assurance processes.

• Review requirements, perform risk assessments, and ensure adequate test coverage across applications, interfaces, and banking-related business processes.

• Mentor QA team members, drive testing best practices, support issue resolution, and ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions within Agile and Waterfall environments.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing, including 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead within Banking or Financial Services environments.

• Strong experience in Banking/Financial domain testing, including peripheral testing, functional testing, test management, defect management, and SDLC methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).

• Hands-on expertise with HP ALM/Quality Center, JIRA, Confluence, Postman, SoapUI, Git/Bitbucket, and test automation/testing tools, with proven ability to lead testing teams and deliver high-quality enterprise applications.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour
