Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract job with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience leading Banking and Financial Services testing initiatives, including End-to-End (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Regression Testing.

Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead job responsibilities include:

• Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing, UAT, regression testing, and functional testing activities for banking applications.

• Develop test strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and quality assurance approaches aligned with business and project objectives.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and project managers to ensure complete test coverage and defect resolution.

• Manage defect tracking, reporting, and issue resolution using tools such as HP ALM, Jira, and Confluence.

• Define testing goals, quality metrics, and measurement plans to support continuous improvement and software quality initiatives.

• Analyze business and technical requirements, assess system functionality, and identify testing risks and quality concerns.

• Prepare and present testing status reports, quality dashboards, and release readiness updates to project stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or Test Management.

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Test Lead supporting Banking or Financial Services projects.

• Strong experience with: End-to-End Testing (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Defect Management, Test Planning & Execution

• Strong understanding of: SDLC Methodologies, Agile & Waterfall Frameworks, Test Metrics & Reporting, Software Quality Assurance Practices

• Hands-on experience with: HP ALM / Quality Center, Jira, Confluence, Postman, SoapUI, Maven, Git / Bitbucket

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Digital Banking applications and platforms.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Test Management tools.

• Experience with AI and Automation Testing initiatives.

• Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and continuous testing practices.

• Experience leading large-scale banking transformation or modernization programs.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
