Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Lead for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX / Plano, TX. The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of scalable cloud-native applications using AWS, Apache Flink, and modern microservices architecture.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $45/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications using AWS services and microservices architecture.

• Build and manage real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink and Kafka.

• Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot frameworks.

• Implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes for efficient deployment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in an Agile environment.

• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 8–10+ years of experience in software development with strong cloud and streaming expertise.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services, Apache Flink, Kafka, and microservices development using Java and Spring Boot.

• Strong understanding of containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform), and building scalable, real-time data processing systems.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $45.00 per hour
