Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Project Manager for a Contract job with a client in Collegeville, PA. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in maintenance engineering, facility infrastructure projects, contractor management, and industrial manufacturing environments, along with a proven ability to lead capital and maintenance improvement projects from planning through execution.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Maintenance Project Manager job responsibilities include:

  • Lead facility, infrastructure, maintenance, and safety-related projects within an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Develop project scopes, engineering specifications, cost estimates, schedules, and implementation plans for maintenance and capital projects.

  • Obtain vendor and contractor quotations, evaluate proposals, and support contractor selection activities.

  • Coordinate project execution with Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Operations, and external contractors.

  • Manage projects involving HVAC systems, plumbing systems, building improvements, safety enhancements, and preventative maintenance initiatives.

  • Provide on-site supervision of contractors and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational requirements.

  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, risks, and deliverables to ensure successful completion of assigned projects.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.

  • 5–7+ years of experience in maintenance engineering, project engineering, facilities engineering, or industrial project management.

  • Strong background in: Industrial Maintenance, Facility Infrastructure Projects, Contractor Management, HVAC Systems, Plumbing Systems, Building Improvements, Preventative Maintenance Programs

  • Experience developing project scopes, specifications, schedules, and budgets.

  • Strong understanding of industrial safety practices and EHS requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience within manufacturing, industrial production, or heavy industrial environments.

  • Hands-on background in mechanical systems, controls systems, or maintenance operations.

  • Experience managing capital improvement and facility modernization projects.

  • Familiarity with reliability engineering, preventive maintenance strategies, and asset management programs.

  • PMP or related project management certification is a plus.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $68.00 per hour
