Maintenance Supervisor

Akkodis is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a Direct Hire with a client in St Joseph, MO. The ideal candidate will Lead maintenance operations and drive equipment reliability by coordinating preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting industrial systems, and supporting production goals.

Salary Range: $75K/Yearly to $85K/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities include:

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, providing coaching, training, and performance management.

• Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.

• Troubleshoot and oversee repairs on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Manage maintenance schedules, work orders, spare parts inventory, and CMMS records.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements within the facility.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and cost effectiveness.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, industrial technology, or a related field preferred.

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production maintenance environment.

• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs, equipment troubleshooting, and repair processes.

• Proficiency with CMMS software and experience working with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
