Manufacturing Engineer II

Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer II for a Contract with a client in Avon, IN. The ideal candidate will drive process improvements and provide hands-on operational support by managing equipment validations, work instruction changes, and troubleshooting manufacturing systems.

Rate Range: $40/Hour to $43/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Manufacturing Engineer II Responsibilities include:

• Manage Windchill change controls, work instructions, and process documentation to ensure compliance and operational accuracy.

• Lead equipment, non-product software, and temperature mapping validations while maintaining qualification records.

• Provide floor support by troubleshooting manufacturing equipment, robotics, printers, and operational processes.

• Own equipment and process documentation, master data maintenance, and preventive maintenance/calibration activities.

• Coordinate with vendors and cross-functional teams to support project execution, process improvements, and operational goals.

• Prepare technical reports, track business metrics, and deliver monthly performance reviews to support continuous improvement initiatives.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, validation, or operations support within a regulated environment.

• Experience with Windchill change management, technical documentation, work instructions, and equipment/process validation activities.

• Strong troubleshooting skills with hands-on experience supporting manufacturing equipment, automation/robotics, printers, and production operations.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $43.00 per hour
