    Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a Contract with a client in Minnetonka, MN. The candidate must have strong manufacturing engineering expertise with the ability to lead complex technical tasks and drive proactive problem‑solving to be considered for this role.

    NOTE: Shift time - 5 am to 3:30 pm

    Rate Range: $35/hour to $37/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Manufacturing Engineer job responsibilities include:

    • Lead complex manufacturing engineering tasks that involve multiple interconnected elements and require strong technical judgment.

    • Troubleshoot production issues, optimize equipment performance, and support day‑to‑day manufacturing operations.

    • Identify key technical issues proactively and recommend effective solutions, even in situations without prior precedent.

    • Collaborate with peers, technicians, and mentors through reviews, verification, and validation activities to ensure technical accuracy.

    • Implement process improvements across safety, quality, delivery, and cost, contributing to initiatives such as 5S, A3 problem‑solving, and waste reduction.

    • Evaluate system, equipment, and process impacts when implementing changes to maintain alignment with business and manufacturing objectives.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or related discipline).

    • 0–5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process troubleshooting, and equipment optimization.

    • Strong analytical and technical problem‑solving ability with the capability to lead complex engineering tasks independently.

    • Proven ability to collaborate across teams through technical reviews, verification, and validation activities while driving improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency.

    Pay Details: $35.00 to $37.00 per hour
