Mechanical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to work in Aurora, OH. In this position you will participate in new product development projects, application engineering of existing products and processes.  You will work with the Electrical, Software and Mechanical Engineers.

Salary:  $73,000 up to $90,000

Mechanical Engineer responsibilities:

·       System and detail level mechanical design

·       3D modeling using SolidEdge

·       Selection of materials and creation of prototypes

·       Design molds, fixtures and other production necessities

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree is required

·       Minimum of 5 years of experience – hands on mechanical design

·       Sheet metal design – required

·       3D modeling experience using SolidEdge

·       Knowledge of basic electrical circuits -preferred not required
