PCB Designer

Akkodis is seeking an PCB Designer for a Contract with a client in Lansdale, PA. The ideal candidate will design and develop complex multi-layer PCBs for RF and high-speed digital applications that support mission-critical technologies.

Rate Range: $85/Hour to $90/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

PCB Designer Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop complex multi-layer PCBs, including rigid, flex, and rigid-flex boards, for RF and high-speed digital applications.

• Perform RF PCB layout for controlled impedance structures, transmission lines, antennas, filters, and mixed-signal circuits.

• Implement signal integrity, power integrity, EMI/EMC mitigation, and thermal management best practices throughout the design process.

• Collaborate with RF, hardware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to support product development from concept through production.

• Generate fabrication and assembly documentation, maintain PCB libraries, and ensure compliance with IPC and industry standards.

• Support prototypes bring-up, testing, debugging, and resolution of DFM/DFT issues with fabrication and manufacturing partners.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• 8+ years of professional PCB design experience with complex multi-layer board designs.

• Extensive RF layout expertise, including controlled impedance routing, signal integrity, and high-speed digital interfaces.

• Proficiency in Altium Designer, Siemens Xpedition (Mentor Graphics), and Cadence Allegro PCB Designer.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $90.00 per hour
