PLM BOM Consultant

Akkodis is seeking a PLM BOM Consultant for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for managing BOM configuration, change management, and ensuring data accuracy within Agile PLM or Siemens Teamcenter environments.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $59/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

PLM BOM Consultant Job Responsibilities include:

• Configure, manage, and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) in Agile PLM or Siemens Teamcenter systems.

• Handle Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) within the PLM environment.

• Perform component and material analysis to ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and product onboarding processes.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product lifecycle and ensure data accuracy.

• Maintain documentation, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of PLM-related activities.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in PLM/BOM management roles.

• Hands-on experience with Agile PLM or Siemens Teamcenter, including BOM configuration and ECO/ECR processes.

• Strong expertise in component analysis, compliance standards, and executing UAT for PLM systems.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $59.00 per hour
