Power BI Engineer / Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Power BI Engineer / Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will design and develop enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards and scalable ETL/ELT pipelines that transform complex data into actionable business insights.

Rate Range: $45/Hour to $46/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Power BI Engineer / Developer Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic data models.

• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and integrate data from multiple sources including databases, APIs, and cloud platforms.

• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and transformation logic to support analytics and reporting.

• Create interactive visualizations and KPI-driven reports that deliver actionable business insights to stakeholders.

• Implement data governance, security, quality controls, and performance optimization across Power BI and data engineering solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end analytics solutions from data ingestion to reporting.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 5-8 years of experience in Power BI development, business intelligence, and data engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced SQL.

• Proven expertise in designing ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, semantic models, and enterprise reporting solutions.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
