Program Coordinator - Body In White

Akkodis is seeking a Program Coordinator - Body In White for a Contract with a client in Long Beach, CA. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional coordination and program tracking to ensure engineering milestones, deliverables, and project objectives are achieved on schedule.

Rate Range: $36/Hour to $38/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Coordinator - Body In White Responsibilities include:

• Manage and track part releases, engineering changes, material certifications, and program deliverables to support successful project execution.

• Develop and maintain program schedules, status dashboards, and health reports using JIRA and Confluence.

• Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure milestone alignment and on-time deliverables.

• Identify project risks, dependencies, and schedule impacts, and communicate mitigation plans to stakeholders.

• Facilitate program review meetings, document action items, and drive follow-up activities to completion.

• Prepare executive-level reports and provide accurate project visibility to support data-driven decision-making.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 3+ years of program or project management experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and project tracking/reporting tools, with experience managing schedules, program timing, and deliverables.

• Strong understanding of part release processes, engineering change management, risk tracking, and cross-functional project coordination.

Pay Details: $36.00 to $38.00 per hour
