Program Manager

Modis is seeking an Program Manager for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end engineering programs, driving cross-functional alignment, risk management, and execution from concept through delivery.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Manager Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end engineering programs, ensuring successful delivery of complex software and infrastructure initiatives.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product, QA, DevOps, Security, and Operations to achieve program objectives.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate technical, schedule, and resource risks to keep projects on track.

• Drive resolution of critical issues and dependencies through root cause analysis and effective stakeholder collaboration.

• Develop and maintain program plans, dashboards, milestone tracking, and executive status reports.

• Continuously improve processes, workflows, and release management practices to enhance operational efficiency and delivery outcomes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.

• 8+ years of experience in Engineering Program Management (EPM), Technical Program Management (TPM), or a similar role leading large-scale technology initiatives.

• Proven experience managing complex software development programs with strong knowledge of SDLC, release management, and cross-functional project execution.

• Strong technical understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering best practices.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
