Program Manager GDPR

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager GDPR for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA. The ideal candidate must have experience with GDPR, CCPA, Privacy by Design, and privacy program management, including implementing privacy frameworks, managing privacy assessments, and supporting regulatory compliance efforts.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $59/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Manager GDPR Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead end-to-end privacy and data protection programs, ensuring timely execution of projects, milestones, and deliverables.

• Partner with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams to implement and operationalize privacy requirements.

• Develop and maintain privacy frameworks aligned with GDPR, CCPA, AI governance requirements, and other global regulations.

• Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and maintain data inventories, data flow maps, and Records of Processing Activities (RoPA).

• Manage privacy incidents, support DSARs, audits, and regulatory inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and compliance.

• Drive Privacy by Design initiatives, deliver privacy awareness training, and monitor evolving regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information systems, Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

• 5+ years of experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or program/project management roles.

• Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, Privacy by Design principles, and global privacy regulations, including privacy impact assessments and compliance frameworks.

• Proven experience managing cross-functional privacy programs and collaborating with Legal, Security, Product, Engineering, and Compliance teams in complex organizations.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $59.00 per hour
