Program Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Program Manager for a Contract with a client in Allen Park, MI (Remote). The ideal candidate will drive cross‑functional teams without direct authority while managing portfolio priorities, risks, dependencies, and executive‑level program status reporting.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage end‑to‑end delivery of large, multi‑technology infrastructure upgrade programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.

• Drive progress, accountability, and dependency management across cross‑functional implementation teams without direct authority.

• Oversee program risks, issues, and financials, including budget estimates, forecasting, and mitigation planning.

• Coordinate with network, infrastructure, security, vendors, and third‑party teams to ensure successful circuit, firewall, wireless, and datacenter deployments.

• Facilitate governance forums such as working groups and steering committees, providing clear executive‑level communications and program status reporting.

• Continuously improve program delivery processes while operating effectively in a fast‑paced, global, and multi‑time‑zone environment.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• 8+ years of experience in program/project management, with a strong focus on infrastructure and network initiatives.

• Proven network and infrastructure background, including understanding of circuit delivery, routers, firewalls, wireless technologies, and datacenter fundamentals.

• Excellent client‑facing and executive communication skills, with the ability to manage vendors, global teams, and stakeholders across multiple time zones.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
