Program/Project Management Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Program/Project Management Lead for a Contract job with a client in New York, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Agentic AI, Generative AI (GenAI), and Enterprise Program Management, along with a proven ability to lead complex cross-functional technology initiatives.

Rate Range: $74/hour to $76/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Program/Project Management Lead Job Responsibilities Include:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise AI initiatives, including Agentic AI capabilities, Generative AI solutions, and business transformation programs.

• Develop and manage integrated project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, budgets, and action items to ensure successful program execution.

• Coordinate activities across product, engineering, data, operations, architecture, and business teams to drive alignment and achieve delivery objectives.

• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, governance reviews, executive communications, and decision-making processes to ensure transparency and accountability.

• Manage cross-functional dependencies, resolve project issues, mitigate risks, and drive timely resolution of obstacles impacting program success.

• Establish and maintain delivery cadences, status reporting frameworks, governance models, and stakeholder communication plans.

• Ensure business requirements, implementation considerations, technical dependencies, and operational readiness activities are clearly documented and managed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Support testing, deployment, change management, post-launch transition activities, and operational adoption of AI-enabled solutions.

• Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for AI innovation, process optimization, and continuous improvement across the organization.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of three years of experience managing AI, technology, digital transformation, or enterprise application programs.

• Hands-on experience supporting Agentic AI, Generative AI, AI orchestration, or intelligent automation initiatives.

• Strong expertise in Program and Project Management methodologies, governance frameworks, stakeholder engagement, and delivery management.

• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams, business units, and executive stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting Agent Orchestration frameworks, AI Agents, conversational AI platforms, or enterprise AI ecosystems.

• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

• Experience managing AI implementation programs within healthcare, insurance, wellness, or highly regulated industries.

• Experience developing executive dashboards, governance reporting, KPI tracking, and program performance metrics.

• Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or related project management credentials are highly desirable.

Pay Details: $74.00 to $76.00 per hour
