Akkodis is seeking a Project Manager III for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The candidate will coordinate firmware project schedules, monitor build and test cycles, and drive cross‑functional execution across engineering, QA, and system integration teams.
Rate Range: $85/hour to $87/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Project Manager III job responsibilities include:
Define, maintain, and communicate firmware project schedules across engineering, QA, and cross‑functional teams.
Coordinate with firmware development teams to track deliverables, risks, priorities, and dependency impacts.
Support engineering program managers by driving firmware milestones and cross‑functional execution.
Monitor firmware builds and test cycles across multiple test vehicles to ensure stability and readiness.
Collaborate with QA and system integration teams to track quality issues and drive timely resolution.
Maintain an optimized build cadence to support hardware partners and prototype development needs.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Minimum 6+ years of experience in firmware engineering program or project management within complex, cross‑functional environments.
Proven experience managing firmware development lifecycles, build schedules, and dependencies across engineering and QA teams.
Strong ability to communicate risks, priorities, and quality issues while driving resolution across multiple stakeholders and test platforms.

Pay Details: $85.00 to $87.00 per hour
