Python Matlab Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Python Matlab Engineer for a Contract with a client in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate has expertise in object‑oriented Python with NumPy/Pandas and RESTful API development using Flask or Django, delivering effective data visualization solutions aligned to customer requirements.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Python Matlab Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and optimize algorithms, data structures, and file‑processing solutions using MATLAB and Python.

• Build data visualizations, graphs, and user interfaces in MATLAB to represent customer‑specific data requirements.

• evelop and maintain Python‑based applications using object‑oriented principles with NumPy and Pandas.

• Design, implement, and support RESTful APIs using Flask or Django for data integration and application communication.

• Analyze and process data received from phone receivers, transforming raw data into meaningful visual insights.

• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to enhance performance, maintain code quality, and support continuous improvements.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent practical experience).

• 8–10 years of hands‑on experience in Python and MATLAB development.

• Strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink for algorithm development, data processing, visualization, and UI creation.

• Proven experience in object‑oriented Python programming with NumPy/Pandas and building RESTful APIs using Flask or Django.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
