    Akkodis is seeking a QA Automation Tester for a Contract with a client in Hartford, CT. You will design and execute automated test scripts while performing functional and integration testing on Pega 8.x CDH platforms.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    QA Automation Tester job responsibilities include:

    • Perform hands-on functional, regression, and integration testing within Pega 8.x CDH platforms to ensure system reliability and performance.

    • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and JavaScript or similar automation frameworks.

    • Conduct API and data integration validation, ensuring accurate payloads, schemas, and end-to-end data flow.

    • Manage test plans and defect lifecycle using tools like Rational Tool Suite, JIRA, RQM, and RTC.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

    • Prepare detailed test documentation and reports, including test cases, traceability matrices, and defect summaries for stakeholders.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

    • Minimum 5+ years in QA testing with strong automation experience.

    • Hands-on experience with Pega 8.x CDH platforms, including functional and integration testing.

    • Strong scripting skills in Selenium, Java, and JavaScript, with proficiency in API testing and data validation.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $56.00 per hour
