Quality Control Technician

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Control Technician for a Contract with a client in Scarborough, ME (Hybrid). The ideal candidate with experience performing laboratory testing, quality inspections, and final product release activities to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Rate Range: $25/hour to $27/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Quality Control Technician Job Responsibilities include:

• Perform in-process and final release testing for Lateral Flow, ELISA, and Molecular products to ensure product quality and compliance.

• Conduct laboratory analyses, review test results, and troubleshoot technical or quality-related issues.

• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment to support accurate and reliable testing processes.

• Review batch records and ensure adherence to established quality standards, procedures, and documentation requirements.

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and regulatory requirements including FDA and ISO standards.

• Support Quality Management System activities by accurately documenting results, identifying process deviations, and maintaining laboratory safety protocols.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in biology, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline; bachelor’s degree preferred.

• 1+ years of laboratory and/or quality control experience; experience in a regulated industry is preferred.

• Knowledge of GMP, GLP, FDA, and ISO regulations with experience performing laboratory testing and quality control activities.

• Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and techniques such as pipetting, pH meter operation, ELISA assays, troubleshooting, and documentation of test results.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
