Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Release Train Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cary, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading Agile Release Train (ART) activities and coordinating cross-functional Data & Analytics initiatives to ensure successful delivery of business value and continuous improvement.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Release Train Engineer Job Responsibilities include:
Lead and facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) ceremonies, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, ART Syncs, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops to ensure alignment and execution across teams.
Coordinate cross-functional teams delivering Data Engineering, Analytics, BI, MLOps, AI/ML, and Cloud Modernization initiatives while managing dependencies and delivery timelines.
Identify, track, and mitigate program risks, impediments, and cross-team dependencies to ensure successful delivery of business objectives.
Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to align priorities, roadmap execution, and value delivery across the ART.
Monitor and report on ART performance, team capacity, predictability metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives using Azure DevOps and Target Process.
Drive SAFe Agile best practices, Agile governance, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance team collaboration, delivery efficiency, and organizational agility.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field. SAFe RTE certification is highly preferred.
8-10+ years of experience in Agile delivery, program management, release management, or Scrum leadership, including experience leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
Strong expertise in SAFe Agile methodologies, Agile Release Train (ART) leadership, PI Planning, dependency management, risk management, and Agile governance using Azure DevOps and Target Process.
Proven experience leading large-scale Data & Analytics, Cloud Modernization, BI, Data Engineering, or AI/ML programs, with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Pay Details: $41.00 to $56.00 per hour
