    Akkodis is seeking a Release Implementation Manager for a Contract with a client in Philadelphia, PA(Remote). The ideal candidate must have specialized in automated release management, bringing the expertise required to lead production implementations across diverse IT environments.

    Rate Range: $49/hour to $51/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

     

    Release Implementation Manager job responsibilities include:

    • Define and drive end‑to‑end production implementation strategies for new capabilities, enhancements, and continuous improvement releases across software and hardware platforms.

    • Develop detailed deployment and back‑out plans, outlining activities, timelines, resource needs, and execution sequence to ensure smooth and low‑risk releases.

    • Coordinate closely with Program Managers, Technical Leads, Environment Engineering, and Change Management teams to secure approvals, plan CI/CD enablement, and minimize production disruption.

    • Lead and facilitate implementation review calls, execution calls, and real‑time issue triage by collaborating with Operations Command Center and escalation channels.

    • Provide timely release status updates and partner with Release Readiness teams to ensure business checkout, communications, and post‑implementation assessments are completed.

    • Maintain and manage release implementation activities within Agile SAFe tools (preferably JIRA) to support visibility, tracking, and continuous process improvement.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 8–10 years of Release Management or Production Implementation experience across diverse, complex IT environments.

    • Strong ability to collaborate and influence across a highly matrixed organization while managing cross‑functional stakeholders.

    • Demonstrated expertise in leading large, integrated programs with strong communication, problem‑solving, and change‑management skills.

    Pay Details: $49.00 to $51.00 per hour
