Risk Analyst

Akkodis is seeking a Risk Analyst for a Contract with a client in Raleigh, NC/ Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in risk management, risk assessments, control evaluations, BCP/DR planning, and GRC processes to effectively mitigate operational, technology, and regulatory risks.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Risk Analyst Job Responsibilities include:

• Conduct risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and continuous monitoring activities across business, technology, operational, and third-party risk domains.

• Perform risk lens reviews, vulnerability assessments, control evaluations, and risk remediation activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements.

• Manage risk exceptions, including impact analysis, approval workflows, compensating controls, periodic reviews, and exception closure tracking.

• Support Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery (DR) programs, including Business Impact Analysis (BIA), recovery strategy development, testing, and validation.

• Collaborate with security, compliance, audit, and business stakeholders to address risk issues, strengthen controls, and support governance and regulatory initiatives.

• Develop and maintain risk registers, KRIs/KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reports to provide visibility into enterprise risk posture and support informed decision-making.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, Finance, Business Administration, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8-10 years of experience in Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk, Technology Risk, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), or a related risk function.

• Proven expertise in risk identification, risk assessments, control evaluations, vulnerability assessments, risk remediation, and managing risk exceptions within regulated environments.

• Strong experience in Business Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery (DR), Business Impact Analysis (BIA), GRC frameworks, audit readiness, and executive risk reporting using KRIs, KPIs, and risk dashboards.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
