SAP Architect III

Akkodis is seeking a SAP Architect III for a Contract job with a client in Waltham, MA. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience with SAP Joule, SAP Business AI, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and Enterprise AI solutions, along with a proven track record of delivering AI-powered business transformation initiatives.

Rate Range: $75/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

SAP Architect III job responsibilities include:

• Lead SAP AI strategy development and roadmap planning aligned with enterprise business objectives and digital transformation initiatives.

• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize high-value AI opportunities across Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Asset Management, and Corporate Functions.

• Design and implement SAP Joule-powered solutions across SAP S/4HANA, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Analytics Cloud, and SAP Datasphere environments.

• Develop and configure Joule Skills, AI Agents, conversational experiences, and Business AI use cases that improve productivity and operational efficiency.

• Architect and implement AI solutions utilizing SAP BTP, SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Build Apps, SAP Build Work Zone, and SAP Integration Suite.

• Design and deliver Agentic AI solutions, intelligent assistants, and AI-powered automation workflows that reduce manual effort and enhance decision-making capabilities.

• Integrate SAP AI platforms with Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and other enterprise AI technologies to deliver scalable and secure AI solutions.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• 8+ years of SAP consulting experience.

• 3+ years of experience delivering AI, Machine Learning, Automation, or Generative AI solutions.

• Strong expertise in:

  • SAP Joule, SAP Business AI, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP AI Core, SAP Generative AI Hub, SAP Build, SAP Build Process Automation, SAP Integration Suite, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere.

• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and enterprise application integration.

• Experience designing AI-enabled business solutions using prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), orchestration frameworks, and intelligent automation technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certified Associate or Professional Certifications.

• SAP BTP Certification.

• SAP AI, Business AI, or SAP Joule-related certifications.

• Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure OpenAI, and enterprise AI platforms.

• Utility industry experience preferred.

• Experience leading large-scale business process transformation and innovation initiatives.

• Strong expertise in one or more SAP functional areas including:

  • Source-to-Pay (SAP Ariba), Finance & Controlling, Human Capital Management, Supply Chain Management, Asset Management.

Pay Details: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour
