Senior IT Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Senior IT Project Manager for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must with proven expertise lead large-scale enterprise technology modernization and vulnerability remediation initiatives.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $80/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior IT Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage enterprise-wide technology modernization and vulnerability remediation projects from initiation through successful delivery.

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to drive project execution and achieve strategic objectives.

• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies while implementing effective resolution strategies.

• Provide regular project updates, executive presentations, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.

• Manage multiple concurrent IT initiatives, ensuring resource allocation, prioritization, and adherence to organizational standards and governance processes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 8+ years of IT Project Management experience, including leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.

• Proven experience managing technology modernization projects involving infrastructure, systems, or application transformation.

• Demonstrated success leading vulnerability remediation programs, including risk management, stakeholder coordination, and enterprise-wide project delivery.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $80.00 per hour
