    Akkodis is seeking a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer for a Contract with a client in Plano, TX / Indianapolis, IN/ Boston, MA/ Seattle, WA /Portsmouth, NH. The ideal candidate has proven ability to build robust backend solutions, integrate RESTful APIs, collaborate with React/Angular teams, and drive code quality, CI/CD pipelines, and architectural decisions in a fast-paced, distributed environment.

    Rate Range: $43/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Senior Java Spring Boot Developer Job Responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain high‑performance backend applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot within a microservices architecture.

    • Build, secure, and integrate RESTful APIs while ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless interaction with frontend applications (React/Angular).

    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to participate in system design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

    • Ensure code quality through unit, integration, and contract testing, adhering to best engineering and version‑control practices.

    • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps processes, and cloud deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and AWS/Azure.

    • Proactively identify improvements, mentor team members, and take ownership of deliverables in a distributed, Agile environment.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline (master’s preferred).

    • 10–15 years of hands‑on experience in Java/J2EE application development, with strong Spring Boot and microservices expertise.

    • Proven experience designing and delivering scalable, cloud‑native applications using AWS or Azure, with strong CI/CD and DevOps exposure.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate in distributed teams, mentor junior developers, and actively contribute to architectural and design decisions.

    Pay Details: $43.00 to $47.00 per hour
