    Akkodis is seeking a Snowflake +DBT Developer for a Contract with a client in San Jose, CA. This role focuses on designing Snowflake data warehouse solutions and implementing SQL-based ELT pipelines while optimizing performance and ensuring data quality.

    Rate Range: $45/hour to $53/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Snowflake +DBT Developer job responsibilities include:

    • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Snowflake data warehouse solutions.

    • Build, test, and deploy dbt models (staging, intermediate, marts) following best practices.

    • Implement and optimize SQL‑based ELT pipelines, ensuring efficient data transformations.

    • Monitor and enhance Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning.

    • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to define data models and transformation logic.

    • Maintain data quality through dbt tests, documentation, version control, and CI/CD workflows.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

    • 6–8 years of experience in data engineering, ELT development, or modern data stack implementation.

    • Strong proficiency in SQL, Snowflake architecture, and performance optimization as required by the client.

    • Hands‑on experience building and deploying dbt models (Core or Cloud) aligned with the client’s data workflows.

    Pay Details: $45.00 to $53.00 per hour
