Software Developer - OpenText Exstream (Cloud Native)

Akkodis is seeking a Software Developer - OpenText Exstream (Cloud Native) for a Contract with a client in Warren, NJ(Remote). You will design and implement large-scale Customer Communications Management (CCM) solutions using OpenText Exstream Cloud Native, ensuring seamless orchestration and business content authoring.

Rate Range: $60/hour to $85/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

 

Software Developer - OpenText Exstream (Cloud Native) job responsibilities include:

• Design and model customer communications using Communications Designer and Communications Orchestrator, enabling business-side edits through Content Author with robust approval workflows.

• Modernize legacy Exstream workloads by assessing existing PUB-based applications and executing redesigns or rationalized migrations to Cloud Native using accelerators and import/export tools.

• Engineer high-volume batch and real-time communications in Kubernetes environments (AKS/EKS/OpenText Cloud), ensuring scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery.

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Git) for automated build, test, and promotion processes across non-prod and prod domains.

• Model and validate input/output formats (JSON, XML, flat files) for omni-channel delivery including PDF, print streams, email, SMS, and HTML, ensuring compliance with regulatory and brand standards.

• Troubleshoot design tool and runtime issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with multi-vendor teams to deliver solutions and contribute to architecture decisions.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (master’s preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in OpenText Exstream development, including Cloud Native (CE 25.x) features and migrations.

• Proven expertise in Kubernetes (AKS/EKS/OpenText Cloud) for containerized deployments and scaling.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps/Jenkins/Git) and automation scripting (PowerShell/Bash).

Pay Details: $60.00 to $85.00 per hour
