    Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Cupertino, CA. The ideal candidate is responsible for executing end‑to‑end system validation across devices, backend services, data pipelines, and user interfaces to ensure high‑quality releases.

    Rate Range: $54/hour to $58/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Software Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

    • Execute end‑to‑end (E2E) testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, browser UI, and supporting systems.

    • Validate unreleased device features and server‑side platform changes through comprehensive functional and system‑level testing.

    • Develop, maintain, and execute manual test scenarios aligned with E2E testing methodologies.

    • Investigate test failures and perform root‑cause analysis across devices, backend services, and distributed data pipelines.

    • Analyze logs and system telemetry to identify defects and probable failure points before escalation.

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver clear, actionable defect reports with reproduction steps and diagnostic evidence.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

    • Minimum of 2+ years of hands‑on device testing experience (8–10 years overall testing/QA experience preferred).

    • Strong experience executing end‑to‑end testing across devices, backend services, data pipelines, and UI, with proven ability to independently triage complex issues.

    • Proficiency in test automation and debugging using Python and Java, including experience with device automation frameworks (XCUI) and log/telemetry analysis across distributed systems.

    Pay Details: $54.00 to $58.00 per hour
