    Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer-VCP for a Direct Hire with a client in Westlake, OH. This role requires collaborating with clients and teams, testing for quality, and enhancing existing code to support ongoing development.

    Salary Range: $65K/Yearly to $85K/Yearly; The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Software Engineer-VCP job responsibilities include:

    • Design, build, and maintain websites and software applications using modern web technologies.

    • Develop front‑end and back‑end code using Blazor, C# .NET, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

    • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, resolve issues, and define design and content needs.

    • Test websites and applications for usability, performance, and quality, making improvements as needed.

    • Document code to ensure clarity and maintainability for other developers.

    • Review and enhance existing codebases, integrating new features and optimizing performance.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Undergraduate degree in Web Development or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.

    • Several years of hands‑on experience developing web applications using Blazor, C# .NET, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

    • Strong ability to create and maintain custom integrations using SDKs, SOAP/REST services, and JSON.

    • Proven experience designing, testing, and supporting full‑stack web applications within a collaborative team environment.
