Software Tools Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Software Tools Developer for a Contract with a client in Sunrise, FL (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will develop and maintain Python-based automation tools, test libraries, and scripts to support automated testing of automotive infotainment and vehicle connectivity systems.

Rate Range: $50/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Tools Developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation tools, test libraries, and software solutions to support automated testing of automotive infotainment and vehicle connectivity systems.

• Create and enhance automation scripts that convert manual test cases into automated test executions, improving test efficiency and coverage.

• Build and manage test infrastructure, execution pipelines, and automation configurations to support continuous testing and integration activities.

• Collaborate with software development and QA teams to gather testing requirements and implement scalable automation solutions.

• Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot automation issues, and identify opportunities to improve test frameworks and overall system reliability.

• Support Agile Scrum development activities by contributing to sprint deliverables, resolving defects, and driving continuous process improvements.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 2+ years of experience in Python development, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and multithreaded application development.

• Strong experience developing and maintaining Python-based automation tools, test frameworks, and automated test scripts for software validation.

• Experience working with CI/CD environments such as Jenkins, including automated test execution, scheduling, and deployment pipelines.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $60.00 per hour
