    Akkodis is seeking a Solution Architect for a Contract with a client in Las Vegas, NV. The ideal candidate will design and deliver scalable architecture while translating business requirements into actionable technical designs and guiding teams through successful implementation.

    Rate Range: $50/hour to $54/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Solution Architect Job Responsibilities include:

    • Design and lead end‑to‑end solution architecture using Java, Spring Boot, AWS services, and microservices best practices.

    • Act as the single point of contact between business and IT, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

    • Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and Architects to align solution design with product roadmap and delivery goals.

    • Create high‑level design documents, APIs, epics, and user stories while guiding development teams through Agile execution.

    • Evaluate emerging technologies through POCs and drive adoption of architecture patterns that improve scalability, performance, and reliability.

    • Present complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders while promoting reuse and best practices.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

    • 6–8 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise application design, and scalable system development.

    • Strong expertise in Java, Spring/Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and AWS cloud services.

    • Proven experience working in Agile/Lean environments with CI/CD, DevOps processes, and stakeholder collaboration.

    Pay Details: $50.00 to $54.00 per hour
