Sr Mechanical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer (with medical device experience) to work in Marlborough, MA.   We are searching for a Sr. Engineer to support component and system-level mechanical design – SolidWorks proficiency is required.

Salary:  $100,000 up to $125,000 with bonus

Sr. Mechanical Engineer responsibilities:

·         Senior individual contributor supporting component and system-level mechanical design

·         Develop BOMs, work instructions, assembly documentation and packaging drawings

·         Assist in developing IP portfolio for these instruments and provide original technical solutions to improve performance, functionality, reliability costs requirement

• Develop product specification in coordination with marketing, customers and other company departments

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelors Degree

·         10+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience

·         Must have medical device industry experience

·         SolidWorks profiency required

·         Working knowledge of packaging, opto-mechanical, or automation systems is a plus
