Sr Supplier Quality Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Supplier Quality Engineer for a Contract with a client in Clearwater, FL. Candidate must demonstrate strong capability in leading supplier quality initiatives, which is a major qualification for success in this role.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $50.48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Supplier Quality Engineer job responsibilities include:

• Leads supplier quality improvement initiatives to ensure alignment with organizational quality standards and continuous improvement goals.

• Conducts supplier audits to evaluate capabilities, identify gaps, and recommend targeted improvement actions.

• Drives root‑cause analysis and implements corrective actions to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence across supplier operations.

• Evaluates supplier performance through quality metrics, capability assessments, and ongoing monitoring activities.

• Provides technical guidance to suppliers on quality expectations, drawings interpretation, and compliance requirements.

• Supports internal leadership by contributing to team development, engagement, and fostering an inclusive, high‑performance culture.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.

• 5-7 Years of experience required.

• Candidate must demonstrate strong knowledge of quality engineering practices, including root‑cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings to support hardware disposition and supplier evaluations.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $50.48 per hour
