Swift SDET

Akkodis is seeking a Swift SDET for a Contract with a client in Sunnyvale, CA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will drive quality and reliability across iOS/macOS applications by designing and maintaining scalable automated test frameworks and end-to-end test suites.

Rate Range: $56/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Swift SDET Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and test suites for iOS/macOS applications using Swift.

• Create and execute automated Unit, Integration, API, UI, and Regression tests to ensure product quality and reliability.

• Develop and maintain XCUITest and XCTest automation scripts for complex user workflows and application functionality.

• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Xcode Cloud, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Fastlane.

• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve test failures, flakiness, performance issues, and release-blocking defects.

• Collaborate with developers, product teams, and release managers to ensure adherence to Apple platform standards, accessibility, and quality best practices.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 7+ years of experience in Software Development Engineering in Test (SDET), QA Automation, or iOS Test Automation.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Swift and native Apple testing frameworks, including XCTest, XCUITest, and Swift Testing.

• Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks for iOS/macOS applications.

Pay Details: $56.00 to $60.00 per hour
