Technical Project Manager

Akkodis is seeking a Technical Project Manager for a Contract with a client in Costa Mesa, CA / Allen, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate must have proven track record of leading complex software development projects and driving successful delivery in Agile environments.

Rate Range: $50/Hour to $53/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technical Project Manager Job Responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage end-to-end software development projects, ensuring timely delivery, quality, and alignment with business objectives.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business stakeholders, to drive project execution and issue resolution.

• Oversee Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog management, and project tracking activities.

• Manage project risks, dependencies, timelines, and resource allocation while providing proactive status updates.

• Collaborate with technical teams on AWS, APIs, microservices, and data engineering initiatives to support solution delivery.

• Prepare and deliver executive-level reports, project metrics, and stakeholder communications on project progress and outcomes.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

• 8–10 years of experience managing software development and technology projects.

• Strong understanding of AWS, APIs, microservices, and data engineering concepts.

• Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum projects with excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive-level reporting skills.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $53.00 per hour
