Technician I, Manufacturing

Akkodis is seeking a Technician I, Manufacturing for a Contract with a client in Sylmar, CA. The ideal candidate will support manufacturing operations by developing and implementing MES code, troubleshooting system issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve production efficiency.

Rate Range: $22/Hour to $23/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technician I, Manufacturing Responsibilities include:

• Create, test, implement, and release MES code to support manufacturing and production operations.

• Troubleshoot MES-related process and equipment issues while providing system support to production teams.

• Train end users on MES functionality and best practices to ensure effective system utilization.

• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, IT, and cross-functional teams to coordinate MES activities and code releases.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing process enhancements within MES.

• Generate production build history reports and assess MES updates related to engineering change orders.

 

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• 0-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, production support, or technical operations environment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and general computer applications, with the ability to accurately manage and maintain production data.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to support MES processes, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
