Technology Consulting Practitioner

Akkodis is seeking a Technology Consulting Practitioner for a contract position with a client in Denver, CO. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience supporting SAP HCM Payroll and Time Management solutions, including time evaluation, schema and PCR development, and SAP S/4HANA implementations.

Rate Range: $68/hour to $70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Technology Consulting Practitioner job responsibilities include:

• Configure, support, and maintain SAP HCM Time Management and Payroll solutions to meet business and operational requirements.

• Provide application support activities including break/fix resolution, troubleshooting, system monitoring, production support, testing, and minor enhancements.

• Design, build, configure, and optimize SAP applications and business processes related to payroll and time management functions.

• Develop and maintain payroll schemas, Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs), and Time Evaluation configurations to support business and regulatory requirements.

• Support SAP Payroll processing for Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru, including payroll calculations, taxes, benefits, vacation accruals, and statutory compliance requirements.

• Participate in full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementations, including requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support activities.

• Work with Cross Application Time Sheet (CATS) functionality supporting both positive and negative time management processes.

• Create, execute, and maintain unit test scripts using HP ALM while documenting testing results and providing detailed evidence to support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional teams, and technical resources to resolve issues and implement process improvements.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

• Five to eight years of hands-on experience working with SAP HCM Time Management and SAP Payroll solutions.

• Strong experience providing application support, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, system monitoring, testing, and enhancement activities.

• Proven experience designing, building, and configuring SAP applications to support business process and application requirements.

• Extensive experience developing and supporting Payroll Schemas and Personnel Calculation Rules (PCRs) for Time Evaluation and Payroll processing.

• Experience supporting SAP Payroll for Mexico, Costa Rica, and Peru, including taxes, benefits, vacations, and country-specific payroll requirements.

• Experience participating in at least five full-cycle SAP S/4HANA implementations with Cross Application Time Sheet (CATS) functionality supporting positive and negative time management.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience creating and maintaining Unit Test Scripts using HP ALM.

• Experience documenting testing scenarios, capturing evidence, and supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.

• Knowledge of SAP testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and release management practices.

• Previous consulting experience supporting large-scale SAP HCM and Payroll environments.

• Industry experience is desired but not required.

• Experience working with distributed global teams and multi-country payroll environments.

Pay Details: $68.00 to $70.00 per hour
