    Akkodis is seeking a Test Automation Lead for a Contract with a client in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate with deep expertise in Playwright and Java, driving high‑quality automation solutions.

    Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

    Test Automation Lead job responsibilities include:

    • Define and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with client and project objectives.

    • Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Playwright, Java, and scripting languages.

    • Lead onsite automation efforts, coordinate with offshore teams, and ensure timely delivery of scripts and test execution results.

    • Troubleshoot complex automation issues and drive continuous improvement in automation practices.

    • Integrate Generative AI solutions to enhance automation efficiency, including script generation and test data creation.

    • Conduct code reviews and enforce adherence to best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines.

     

    Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.

    • 10+ years in Test Automation, including at least 3 years in a technical lead role.

    • Strong hands‑on expertise in Playwright, Java, and scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.

    • Proven experience designing scalable automation frameworks and leading cross‑shore automation teams.

    Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
