Test Lead

Akkodis is seeking a Test Lead for a Contract with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate will oversee test planning, execution, and quality assurance activities to ensure successful delivery of banking applications and peripheral testing initiatives.

Rate Range: $37/Hour to $40/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Test Lead Job Responsibilities include:

• Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) to ensure secure and reliable network operations.

• Implement and maintain security policies, NAT, IPSec/SSL VPNs, and high-availability configurations across enterprise environments.

• Design, configure, and support SSL/TLS decryption solutions, including certificate management, PKI infrastructure, and encrypted traffic inspection.

• Administer Palo Alto security platforms such as Panorama, GlobalProtect, and WildFire, including firmware upgrades and policy management.

• Troubleshoot firewall, connectivity, and security-related issues while performing firewall audits, rule optimization, and policy standardization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards, monitor threats, and maintain secure network infrastructure.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, or a STEM-related field.

• 7–10 years of experience in network security, firewall administration, and enterprise security operations.

• Strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls (PA Series, Panorama), Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) technologies, and IPS/IDS solutions.

• Proven expertise in SSL/TLS decryption, certificate management, VPN technologies (IPSec/SSL VPN), and troubleshooting complex network security environments.

Pay Details: $37.00 to $40.00 per hour
