Your Role
Akkodis is seeking a Test Lead for a Contract job with a client in Naperville, IL. The ideal candidate must have strong experience leading Banking and Financial Services testing initiatives, including End-to-End (E2E), UAT, and Regression Testing.
Rate Range: $38/hour to $40/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Test Lead job responsibilities include:
Lead end-to-end testing activities across banking applications, ensuring alignment with business and project objectives.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing activities.
Define testing strategies, test plans, test scenarios, and quality metrics in accordance with SDLC and organizational standards.
Manage defect tracking, issue resolution, and test reporting using tools such as HP ALM, Jira, and Confluence.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, project managers, and QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and successful releases.
Analyze requirements, assess system functionality, and identify testing risks and quality improvement opportunities.
Monitor testing progress, prepare status reports, and provide project leadership with quality metrics and release readiness assessments.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
10+ years of overall Quality Assurance and Testing experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Test Lead supporting Banking or Financial Services projects.
Strong experience with: End-to-End Testing (E2E), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), Regression Testing, Functional Testing, Defect Management, Test Planning & Execution
Strong knowledge of: SDLC Methodologies, Waterfall & Agile Frameworks, Test Metrics & Reporting, Quality Assurance Best Practices
Experience using: HP ALM / Quality Center, Jira, Confluence, Postman, SoapUI, Maven, Git / Bitbucket
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Digital Banking platforms and applications.
Knowledge of Microsoft Test Management tools.
Experience leveraging AI and Automation within QA and testing processes.
Exposure to automated testing frameworks and test automation strategies.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale financial services transformation projects.

Pay Details: $38.00 to $40.00 per hour
