UI developer

Akkodis is seeking an UI developer for a Contract with a client in Burlington, MA. The ideal candidate will define UI architecture and technical standards while leading development, mentoring teams, and collaborating with backend engineers to ensure performance, security, and code quality.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

UI developer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, high‑performance web applications using React.js, TypeScript, and modern front‑end frameworks.

• Define front‑end architecture, coding standards, and best practices to guide consistent and maintainable UI development.

• Lead technical strategy and UI implementation efforts across multiple projects and releases.

• Mentor and coach UI developers, conducting code reviews to ensure quality, security, and performance standards.

• Collaborate closely with backend and UX teams to deliver seamless, integrated, and user‑focused solutions.

• Optimize application performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers and devices.

 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Design, or a related discipline.

• 10+ years of professional experience in UI/front‑end development with a strong React.js background.

• Proven expertise in React architecture, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks for building scalable web applications.

• Demonstrated ability to define UI architectural standards, lead technical strategy, and mentor development teams while collaborating with backend stakeholders.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $49.00 per hour
